The management of a health care institution filed criminal charges against two people suspected of having fake diplomas of secondary education.
"Due to the suspicion that EB (who ceased work by canceling her employment contract at her own request) and HF (whose fixed-term employment contract expires on March 15) committed the criminal offense of falsifying a document from Article 412 of the Criminal Code, we expect the competent authorities to are acting in accordance with their competences and powers in order to solve this significant institutional challenge," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
They also point out that they highly appreciate the engagement of the management of the institution where these cases were discovered.
"After becoming aware of and suspecting falsified educational documents of medical staff in a health institution, the Ministry of Health will send an initiative to the departments of labor and social care, as well as education, science and innovation, in order to check the credibility of the educational documents of medical staff in nursing homes in accordance with their competences for the elderly, i.e. educational institutions of preschool education," the announcement reads.
The Ministry of Health appealed to the competent authorities to act urgently in possible cases of false educational documents in the health sector in order to protect the health of all citizens and avoid serious consequences that unqualified persons may cause.
"Expecting the understanding of the public, primarily due to the desire not to disrupt the course of the investigation, the Ministry of Health cannot provide more information about this case. We remind you that all health institutions in Montenegro (health centers, general hospitals, special hospitals, clinical and hospital centers , KCCG, Montefarm, Institute for Blood Transfusion, Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance, Institute for Public Health), on the order of the Ministry of Health, initiated procedures and sent requests to the competent institutions to check the authenticity of the educational documents of all employees. Considering the large number of employees, this the process may require a certain period of time. When the procedure is completed to the end, we expect complete and consolidated information," the statement reads.
