The Government of Montenegro will help repair the damage caused by this morning's earthquake
As announced by the Government, the Commission for the Assessment of Damages from Natural Disasters, chaired by Vladimir Joković, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, will familiarize itself with the situation on the ground and, in accordance with prescribed procedures, make decisions on further action," the Government's announcement reads.
An earthquake measuring 5,4 on the Richter scale shook the territory of Montenegro in four hours and six minutes.
The Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology announced that the epicenter was five kilometers from the town of Čarađe in the municipality of Nikšić. The focal point was at a depth of 14 kilometers.
