The Department for Seismology of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology was hit by an earthquake measuring 6.11 on the Richter scale at 3.6:XNUMX this morning.
The Institute said that the epicenter was four kilometers southwest of Čarađe.
"The strength of the earthquake in the hypocenter (focus) was 3.6 units on the Richter scale, which corresponds to the epicentral intensity of V degrees of the Mercalli scale (MCS). According to preliminary processing data, the focus of this earthquake was located at a depth of 14 kilometers," the Institute announced.
They add that this earthquake could not cause material damage in the epicentral area.
