As a company that supports sports and sports restrictions, recognizing their role in creating a more physically active and healthy community, Idea-CG signed a sponsorship agreement with the Teqball Association of Montenegro, with the aim of further developing and popularizing this sport in our country.
It is a dynamic game that combines the elements of football and table tennis and is gaining more and more attention from sports fans around the world. Teqball is thus increasingly popular in Montenegro as well.
Seeing the beauty and potential of this sport, and appreciating that, although it is a relatively young sport created in 2012, interest in teqball is continuously growing - among new generations of athletes and recreational players, as well as lovers of this so-called game. "tekera", Idea-CG will support its further development.
"Establishing cooperation with the Teqball Association of Montenegro represents a significant contribution to the further development of this sport in our country. At the same time, this sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle. We believe that this cooperation will have a positive impact on the future of teqball, but also on the entire community, encouraging activity and socializing through sports activities", she said Jelena Doderović, Director of Marketing and Communications at Idea-CG.
Founded in September 2021, the Teqball Association from the beginning had as its main goal the creation of an infrastructure for the development of this sport, through the installation of TEQ tables across the country. Within two years of its foundation, 70 tables were set up in Montenegro.
President of the Teqball Association of Montenegro, Mr. Milorad Šutulović, he added:
"I am very happy that one of the largest businessmen in the country, IDEA Montenegro, is now a partner of the Teqball Association. I would also like to point out that IDEA, through the provision of infrastructure, including three teqball tables, will significantly contribute to the development and popularization of this sport, but will also improve the sports infrastructure in several municipalities in Montenegro. I am convinced that this partnership will be fruitful and that a great period awaits us when it comes to teqball in Montenegro", concluded Šutulović and invited everyone who has not done so to try this game.
