Kotor Municipality President Vladimir Jokić met yesterday with Dejan Savićević, President of the Football Association of Montenegro, and the topic of the meeting was the construction of the new stadium of the "Bokelj" Football Club from Kotor at the location of the existing one in Škaljar, announced the Municipality of Kotor.
"At the competition of the Municipality of Kotor for the development of the conceptual architectural design of the FC 'Bokelj' stadium, the work of architects from Turkey was declared the best. The jury, chaired by Prof. Veljko Radulović, Ph.D., decided on this work because, as stated in the decision, it clearly a contextualized, highly tectonic and urban solution with a good distribution of masses and satisfies the basic design concept and the ambient facts of the location," the announcement reads.
As it is added, from yesterday's meeting between Jokić and Savićević, it was said that it is expected that UNESCO will give a positive opinion on the project, so that the Municipality of Kotor, in cooperation with the Football Association of Montenegro, will start implementing this important infrastructure investment.
Next week, the tender for the construction of the football field in Risno
The Secretariat for Investments of the Municipality of Kotor will next week call for a tender for the construction of a football field in Risno, near the "Veljko Drobnjaković" Primary School, the municipality announced.
"It is a modern field with an artificial surface, 60 meters long and 30 meters wide. The estimated value of the project is 430 thousand euros. The construction of this field will significantly improve the level of sports infrastructure in Risno and confirm the determination of the local self-government to provide quality conditions in all parts of the municipality for recreational and professional sports. Completion of the works is planned for September 1 of this year," the announcement states.
