The mayor of Podgorica, Olivera Injac, said, on the occasion of the official start of work on the new multifunctional building in Zagorič, that the construction of that building was conditioned by the important needs of citizens to make certain services more accessible to them.
"In addition to the health center, the facility with an area of almost 2.700 m² will house a health center, a shop, an EPCG and communal service toll booth, a post office, cultural and sports facilities... In this way, we will permanently improve the way citizens function in this part of Podgorica, and through the implementation other projects to completely round Zagorič as a settlement with a large number of inhabitants", said Injac, as announced by the capital.
According to information from the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica, preparatory works began at the end of January this year, and the value of the building is around 3,5 million. Along with the facility, the construction of a children's playground and parking lot is also planned, and in addition to the planned associated spaces, the Capital has provided an additional plot on which 40 new parking spaces will be built.
"In a short period of time, we have created the preconditions for the implementation of very important projects for Podgorica, and we will continue to work respecting the real needs of the citizens," concluded Injac.
