"Thanks to the donation, which includes, among other things, new life jackets, a compressor for filling diving cylinders, radio devices for communication with aircraft, as well as special personal equipment for rescuers, searchers and operators, the operational readiness of the employees of the Directorate of Maritime Safety and Port Management will be improved. which were also recognized in the previous period for adequate and quick responses to all incident situations. UPSUL will use the donation to further improve and upgrade the search and rescue system at sea in the event of an accident or serious aircraft accident," UPSUL announced.
They also point out that the CAA donates valuable funds to UPSUL every year for the Search and Rescue System, which Montenegro receives from the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), according to the number of overflights over Montenegrin airspace.
Also, UPSUL will use the funds to organize the training of employees in the area of search and rescue at sea, i.e. rescuers.
