The head of the Islamic community in Montenegro, Rifat Fejzić, said in his Eid message that this Eid should be a celebration of the victory of lasting values over the passing moment, the victory of peace over violence, justice over force.
"Dear congregation, brothers and sisters, we say goodbye to the month of Ramadan, which we spent in fasting and devotion to the Creator. Persistence in spiritual and physical self-control illuminated for us the horizon of God's closeness, in which the echo of eternity is clearly heard, and reason distinguishes good from evil.
"Strengthened by the blessings of Ramadan, we resisted fruitless discussions and empty topics that distance us from each other and muddy the water from the source of the Source. Self-control taught us self-criticism as the best way to work on ourselves. Because if we don't take care of ourselves, others will take care of themselves. And here's an opportunity for incompetent egoists to impose narratives that disrupt interpersonal relationships and present manipulation as truth.
"Bajram comes to us as a confirmation of maturing during Ramadan. As a holiday of testimony that we are treading firmly on the right path. Allah is the greatest and the truth belongs to Him!
"Dear believers, today we are here together. We have a lot of young people and children with us, who are the decoration of Eid and our lives. It is our duty to direct them to the right path. To create an atmosphere of coexistence for them, breaking the Balkan spiral of suffering that is almost not has bypassed no generation. The parental vocation requires effort in the interest of the child, and not the transmission of one's own frustrations and anachronistic myths that cause segregation on various grounds. Children are born sinless, with an instinct for love, hatred is imposed on them through upbringing, that is, lack of upbringing.
"'O people, We created you from male and female and made you into tribes and peoples so that you would know each other... And if your Lord had willed, He would have made all people followers of one faith...' These Qur'anic truths clearly confirm that until On the day of judgment, different nations will live in different religions, and that the only model of peace is interaction between them. It is, in fact, the concept of contemporary interculturalism that alone promises a bright future for all our descendants in the common homeland.
"Muslim women and Muslims in Montenegro, we enjoyed the blessings of Ramadan in mosques and homes, in the circle of our loved ones, in peace and freedom. But, this Ramadan, our prayers, more than ever, were directed towards the first Qibla, towards Palestine. We witnessed systematic persecution and killing of our innocent brothers, killed countless times.
"At the end of our strength, we watched the suffering of children, innocent civilians, medical staff, humanitarians, refugees in the camps... The biological rule that children bury their parents in Gaza is an exception. Parents bury their children there. Every day. In front of the world.
"Our beloved Prophet teaches us that 'whoever of us sees something evil, let him remove it with his hand. And if he can't, let him do it with his tongue. And if he can't do that either, then let him condemn it with his heart, and that is the weakest form beliefs.'
"We do not have the power to stop this evil 'with our hands', and those who have it are running out of patience. With our tongue and heart, clearly and loudly, we condemn the crimes of the Israeli regime against the innocent population of Gaza. At the same time, we condemn every crime against every innocent person.
"Between despair and hope, we choose the hope we draw from Allah's promise: 'And do not lose courage and do not grieve; you will win if you are true believers. If you like the wound, others also like the wound. And in these days We give victory now to some, and now to others, so that Allah would point out those who believe and choose some of you as martyrs - and Allah does not like the oppressors.'
"Therefore, there is no eternal victory, nor eternal defeat. Only Allah is eternal! 'O believers! Be firm for the sake of Allah, bear witness in the name of justice and do not let the enmity of a people lead you to not act justly', we are ordered in the Qur'an To the Hon.
"Uncompromising justice is our imperative, because power springs from justice, not justice from power!
"Violence is always defeat. Just peace is always victory. That's why we pray for just peace in the Holy Land and in the whole world!
"In that name, may this Eid be a holiday of the victory of permanent values over the moment of transience, the victory of peace over violence, justice over force. Let us feel the fullness of life in Eid and share the festive joy and hope with all people. Asking Allah, the Exalted, to accept our fast, I congratulate all Muslims in the country and the diaspora on Ramadan Eid! Eid sherif mubarek olsun! Gezuar fitr Bajramin," said Fejzic in the message.
