Nikšić: Brewers gave blood, 30 units were collected

In the spring campaign organized by the Club of Voluntary Blood Donors of the "Trebjesa" Brewery, 30 units of blood were collected.

"In addition to the regular actions that Club members have been carrying out for 14 years, the company strives to additionally support the work of the Transfusion Service, and at the beginning of the year it donated funds for the arrangement and equipment of the transfusion room, which is another form of contribution to the improvement of health infrastructure and support to the local community." , according to the press release.

The head of the Nikšić Blood Transfusion Service, Dr. Biljana Dendić-Đoković, emphasized the importance of long-term successful cooperation both with Pivar and with the members of its Club of Voluntary Blood Donors.

"Nikšić, when it comes to blood donation, is the best organized area in Montenegro. A great contribution to this was made by the Club of Voluntary Donors of Pivare Trebjesa, but also by the company itself through donations. Last year's second donation from the Pivara helped in decorating the premises of our Service , which made our work easier and improved the quality of the services we provide to blood donors, and on this occasion we thank you for that," Dendić-Đoković said in the press release.

The next action of the Club is planned for autumn. Since the establishment of the Club of Voluntary Blood Donors in 2010, more than 1.300 units of blood have been collected through campaigns.
