Activists of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) "Euromost" filmed yesterday under the "Bistrica" Waterworks building in Bijelo Polje, the discharge of feces from two cisterns into Lim.
"Euromost" said that they were approached by a large number of citizens who complained about an unpleasant smell and pointed out that such things happen often.
"Citizens complained to us about the exploitation of gravel from Lim, even though the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development introduced a moratorium. They said that they called the Bjelo Polje Municipal Police, but that none of them showed up to check what was going on," they say in "Euromost ".
The NGO said that they will continue activities to preserve the Lim River and called on citizens to continue sending them videos and photos showing individuals destroying the river.
They wonder why the prosecutor's office in Bijelo Polje and the officers for economic crime are silent on all this.
"Because of all this, environmental organizations and citizens are announcing protests on the Nikolja bridge. We wonder why the President of the Municipality Aleksandar Žurić and the Minister of Agriculture Milutina Simović are silent?", they said from "Euromost".
