The fishing season in the Biogradska Gora National Park (NP) traditionally began on May 1 and will last until the beginning of August.
The price of a fishing license has not changed, so this year, as announced by the NP, it will cost 20 euros.
They announced that they sold 57 permits on the first day.
Based on the tickets sold, according to the NP, 1 people, not counting children, visited that protected area on May 764. Daily tickets cost four euros again this year, while admission is free for children under 15 years old.
"The fish stock is at a satisfactory level, given that there was a successful natural spawning of fish in Lake Biograd last year. In addition to fishing, during the summer tourist season the offer will be, as in previous years, a walk along the educational path around the lake, riding wooden boats, riding bicycles, a forest for reading... During the season, new furniture for the youngest will be installed, and the plan is to make barefoot paths for all visitors. We also received a valuable donation from the Mtel company, 19 benches that will be placed in the parking area," said the NP.
They also expect a donation from the Turkish Agency for International Cooperation (TIKA), which will consist of 15 tables, 30 benches, two canopies and a raft.
