It was announced from the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral that the Ostrog monastery handed over a donation of 15.000 euros to the hospital for lung diseases "Doctor Jovan Bulajić" in Brezovik, which is, as they said, part of the funds for the purchase of medical equipment.
"On the occasion of the feast of St. Basil the Wonderworker of Ostrog, and with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Joaniki of Montenegro and the Littoral, the abbot of Ostrog monastery, Archimandrite Sergije (Rekić), presented a donation. Archimandrite Sergije wished Doctor Pejović, as well as the entire medical and medical staff in Brezovik , with God's help and the protection of Saint Basil, success in performing responsible and above all humanitarian medical duty," reads the announcement of the Metropolis.
