On Friday, May 10, TO Nikšić and the Environmental Movement "Ozone", in cooperation with the Municipality of Nikšić, as part of the ecological campaign "Our city from(b)raz", organized an action to clean up the area around the Emperor's Bridge. was supported by Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, a large number of representatives of the local administration, their services and institutions, the local Tourist Organization (TO), the non-governmental sector, citizens, the president of the local community Kličevo participated along the access road to the bridge, as well as that they did not mow the grass around the benches, and as an attachment he sends photos that were allegedly taken on the day when the action was completed.

"How is it that when TO Nikšić is invited by us, the locals or the Ecopatriotism movement, to the cleaning actions, you say that you are not in charge and that you cannot come personally to clean, and as far as we can see, it has been a year since that call, a revival, a catharsis, you are still in charge and you can come to clean in person and in tennis shoes and Ray-Ban sunglasses, without cleaning almost anything, apart from taking dozens of photos posing as photo models. Or you only do it with a certain group of people and organizations. We expected you to place a trash can, a camera or perhaps a national flag, given that it is a culturally protected and at the same time the most visited object by tourists. Why didn't Elektroprivreda participate and doesn't take into account, and they have an obligation to maintain the road that passes under the bridge, so that it would not damage the foundations due to the overflow of the Zeta River", reads the statement signed by Dakić and which he claims is on his behalf. locals.

He points out that for the past eight years, the locals have been intensively working, cleaning and trying to bring the area around the Emperor's Bridge to a "cultural state", as well as the access roads that lead to their houses, to "fight the battle with unscrupulous neighbors and unaware fellow citizens who bring various garbage, waste and dead animals, leaving the mentioned locations along the road".

"Thanks to one family, and to our neighbors, part of the road towards the Emperor's Bridge was cleaned, a 400-meter long row of trees was planted and maintained in recent years solely from the funds of that family and our efforts. At two locations in the immediate vicinity of the Emperor's Bridge, mini gyms for outdoor recreation," said Dakić's statement.

He emphasizes that every year they mow and arrange the area around the Emperor's Bridge, to fill the plateau around it.

"We don't want to stand out by name and surname for the sake of some interests, as the aforementioned gentlemen want to do and attribute to themselves and present as their own, our effort and work, all for the sake of cheap points and promotion, for the sake of armchairs, status or function.. .Nothing personal, gentlemen, but just a little dignity and a professional relationship.
