An earthquake with a magnitude of 3,3 on the Richter scale was registered today near Mojkovac, the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology (ZHMS) announced.
As stated, the epicenter of the earthquake was registered 21 kilometers (km) northwest of that city.
The earthquake was registered at 11.04:XNUMX a.m.
"The strength of the earthquake in the hypocenter was 3,3 units on the Richter scale, which corresponds to the epicentral intensity of degree V of the Mercalli scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 13 km," the statement said.
It is stated that based on the numerical model of the change in intensity with distance in this region, the magnitude of the earthquake and the depth of the hypocenter, that earthquake could not have caused material damage in the epicentral area.
