World Environment Day should remind us of the importance of daily efforts to protect natural resources and raise awareness of the environmental challenges we face, announced the Minister of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, Vladimir Martinović.
"The Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, through daily activities, projects, as well as the laws it proposes and which have been adopted, strives to ensure a sustainable future for future generations. It is necessary that we all be involved, because only by working together can we achieve the goals of preserving the environment and improving the quality of life. The Government and the Ministry have recognized the preservation of ecology as an important priority and will continue to provide support for initiatives that contribute to the protection of nature and encourage environmental awareness in society," said Martinović.
He added that the Ministry organized a series of activities and actions with citizens, non-governmental organizations and interested institutions in order to raise awareness of the importance of preserving natural resources and promote responsible behavior towards the environment.
