Ulcinj: Adopted decision on responsibility, on the work of Bajraktari at the next session

Members of the Ulcinj Assembly yesterday afternoon adopted a decision on the Municipality's indebtedness to the Government in the amount of 5,36 million euros for the implementation of the project "Water supply and waste water removal on the Adriatic coast, phase V".

The funds in question are provided from the loan agreement concluded on December 20, 2013 between the German Development Bank (KfW) and the Government, i.e. the Ministry of Finance.

In the explanation of the decision, it is recalled that on September 8 of last year, the Government adopted the information on the distribution of KfW Bank's loan funds, with which it agreed to forward the remaining funds from the Loan Agreement on the basis of the Agreement on the Forwarding of Loan and Grant Funds.

"Among others, the Municipality of Ulcinj received an amount of EUR 6,36 million, of which EUR 5,36 million is a loan, while EUR XNUMX million is a government grant," the explanation reads.

Also, the councilors adopted the Decision on amendments to the Decision on the budget of the Municipality of Ulcinj for 2024.

"The reason for making this decision is the continuation of the realization of the capital project of strategic importance for the municipality 'Water supply and waste water removal on the Adriatic coast, phase V', through credit arrangements in the amount of 5,36 million euros," the explanation reads.

The other items on the agenda were also adopted, except for the proposal of the Conclusion on the adoption of the Report on the work of the former President of the Municipality Omer Bajraktari (URA) and local government bodies for the year 2023. This item will be on the agenda at the next session of the Assembly.
