Representatives of the Municipality of Kolašin and the Investment Agency of Montenegro will consider ways of improving interdepartmental cooperation, which will create conditions for bringing investors to that city. This is one of the conclusions from the meeting of the President of the Municipality Petko Bakić, Secretary for Finance, Property and Economic Development Vuk Vuković and advisor in the service of the President Radmila Šuković with the Director of the Agency Snežana Đurović and her colleagues.
The Investment Agency emphasized the new investment model in Montenegro, public-private partnership, as one of the ways to improve cooperation with local self-governments, but also to attract investors. Public-private partnership, it was said, can be realized in part of a wide range of areas.
The agency, as they explained, strives to be directed not only towards the Government and local self-governments, as public contracting authorities, but also towards private partners, who can be the bearers of the initiative for starting the implementation of the public-private partnership project.
Bakić presented the potential of Kolašin to the guests, as well as the activities that the local self-government had implemented in the previous period to solve the problems faced by investors in Kolašin.
