The Administration of Maritime Safety and Port Management (UPSUL) announced today that a new lighthouse has been installed in the Port of Budva.
"The Directorate of Maritime Safety and Port Management replaced the harbor light in the Port of Budva, which had worn out, which is why there was a need to install a new one. Due to the very position of the lighthouse, it was exposed to bad weather conditions and salt water for years, which led to The installation of a new port light is also significant from the point of view that the Budva-Dubrovnik sea line will soon start, as well as the peak of the summer tourist season, when a large number of ships are expected to sail, which is why it was necessary to improve the conditions for safe and safe navigation," the announcement states.
The UPSUL added that the representatives of the Port of Budva and the Public Enterprise for the Management of Maritime Assets of Montenegro provided support and assistance to UPSUL employees during the replacement of the harbor light.
