Previously, the tenants appealed to the Police Directorate, the Communal Inspection of the Capital City, the Sanitary Inspection, the Center for Social Work... but without success. The service always referred them, they claim, to another service or authority, but no one helped them.
The tenants said earlier today that someone has to react.
Last week, "Vijesti" sent questions to the Police Directorate regarding the case, but they did not respond.
"We have had a problem for a long time, even more than two years, because there is a man living in our entrance who, as far as we know, is currently being treated in a psychiatric hospital in Kotor, in Dobrota. He was undergoing treatment, then he came back and caused big problems. It emits disturbing screams, voices,... No one, not even those of us who are used to it, are comfortable. Life has become unbearable for us, because the stench is spreading from his apartment. There was a spill of feces, but we are not sure that he is in Dobrota. There is a possibility that the man could be there, that he got sick... None of the inspection authorities reacted, and the situation has been like this for at least 15 days", tenant Tatjana Marković told "Vijesta".
