Collected 4,7 tons of material for recycling

As part of the action "Knowledge is not for throwing away - Let's recycle textbooks", 4,7 tons of old textbooks were collected yesterday, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced.

They remind that, in cooperation with the city company "Deponija" from Podgorica and the Parents Association, they organized an action to recycle old textbooks in all primary schools in Montenegro, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of recycling and environmental protection among students, teachers and parents.

The workers of "Deponija" went on a tour of schools yesterday and on that occasion collected 4,7 tons of material for recycling.

They said that the company will continue its activities until June 25, by which time it is planned that all recyclable material will be collected, and depending on the amount, the yard of one or more elementary schools in Montenegro will be equipped.
