The capital has announced a public call for subsidies for the purchase of bicycles, and the novelty is that requests are submitted electronically on the epodgorica.me portal, the local authorities announced. As stated, funds in the amount of 30 euros have been provided for the purposes of this public call, which will subsidize 50 percent of the price of the bicycle, with a maximum of 150 euros per individual application.
Detailed instructions for submitting an application can be found on the aforementioned portal. As stated in the announcement of the Capital City, at the stage of submitting the application as well as when signing the contract, citizens must use a certificate for a qualified electronic signature for natural persons, and if they decide to use a new identity card, which also includes the required certificate, all interested parties participants of this call can download readers for electronic ID cards free of charge at the Citizen Service counter (System 48) in the Capital City Assembly building. Free readers are provided through the project "E-services in response to Covid19", which is funded by the EU and implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration of Montenegro.
On the ePodgorica portal, there is also a video guide with clear instructions on how to activate the ID card and sign the document, and citizens who have difficulties using the service will be provided with adequate technical support in the form of education and assistance during registration by the Information System Service, the capital announced.
"In addition to the identity card, citizens can also use some other certificate for a qualified electronic signature that is issued by registered qualified electronic trust service providers in Montenegro. We received confirmation from Crnogorski Telekom as one of the registered trust service providers that for the duration of this Public call, citizens will be able to get their solution through a promotional package, which includes a sufficient number of transactions for free that can be used to sign the necessary documentation," the announcement states.
