VDT: KAS is reporting falsehoods, the exclusion of additional documentation has nothing to do with the decision of the Administrative Court

By order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), members of the Special Police Department seized additional documentation from the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK), in the case against ASK director Jelena Perović, the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office (VDT) announced.

As they said, it is about documentation that is not publicly available, as the ASK incorrectly claims.

"In this particular case, the SDT acted on an anonymous report that pointed to illegalities and abuses in the work of responsible persons in KAS".

They state that the State Prosecutor's Office has no intention of commenting on attempts at institutional abuse in favor of any individual...

"... but due to untrue allegations from the KAS, it has the obligation to inform the public that the exclusion of additional documentation has absolutely nothing to do with the decision made by any other judicial body. At the same time, we remind you that the chief special prosecutor cannot, on any basis, to be connected with the proceedings in this case, due to the well-known fact that, at his personal request, he was exempted from this case", said the prosecutor's office headed by Milorad Marković.
