The Film Center of Montenegro (FCCG) and the University of Donja Gorica (UDG) have signed an Agreement on Business and Technical Cooperation, which aims to further improve the aesthetic and technical quality of student films at UDG and to contribute directly to the future professionalization of the film sector in Montenegro, announced is from FCCG.
The contract was signed by FCCG director Aleksandra Božović and UDG rector Veselin Vukotić.
"The signing of the cooperation agreement implies a three-year continuous co-financing of the production of student films in the third, fourth and fifth years of the study program 'Film and Media' at the University of Donja Gorica. The decision to support films and control their production will be made by a special Commission for the selection and monitoring of the realization of the production of student films , which will be made up of representatives of FCCG, UDG and the Montenegrin film sector," the announcement reads.
"The Film Center of Montenegro, as a leading national institution in cinematography, recognizes and nurtures young talents, providing them with support in those phases of personal and professional development when they need it most. In accordance with the Law on Cinematography, the Film Center realizes one of its goals, which is to provide conditions for supporting young and talented creators in the audio-visual and cinematographic industry, an extremely promising and socially significant field," the Film Center of Montenegro announced. .
The Film Center of Montenegro has renewed a three-year contract with the University of Montenegro "in order to continue successful cooperation in co-financing and affirmation of student films".
