The educational inspection will ask the School Board of the Resource Center "1. June" to replace the director Maja Kalezic because she did not take measures against an employee who violated his work obligations or abused his position, but also because the institution does not keep prescribed records.
This is stated in the notice on the performed inspection of the institution from June 24, which "Vijesti" had access to.
The educational inspector also suspects that certain documents were forged, and the inspector states that she did not find them during the inspection in May, because "they did not exist".
Director Kalezić told "Vijesti" yesterday that she did not want to comment on "that unofficial information".
"I really have work to do, I still haven't received that solution and I don't know why you're asking me about that unofficial information," Kalezić said briefly.

According to the documentation provided to "Vijesti", the procedure was initiated after a parent's complaint that the student's stay in that resource center was unsafe, "because it was allowed to enter for persons who are not employed", that an individual development educational plan (IROP) had not been prepared for one of the students. but neither psychological-defective profiling...
The inspector notes that the irregularities she pointed out during the inspection at the end of May have not been eliminated. At that time, it was established that the school did not conduct an IROP for one student, that pedagogical documentation is not maintained in the manner prescribed by law, that the school yard is not provided for the safe stay of students and that there is no control of persons entering the yard...
"The institution acts contrary to the Law on education and upbringing and the education of children with special needs, which defines that the school, i.e. the resource center is obliged to, as a rule, within 30 days of the enrollment of a child with special educational needs, in cooperation with the parent and inform the Institute for Education, the Center for Vocational Education and the Examination Center. According to all the above, it is evident that the conditions from Article 83, paragraph 1, point have been created. 3, 6 and 8 of the General Law on Education and Training for the dismissal of the principal, about which the educational inspector will make a proposal for dismissal to the School Board within the legal term, because the principal did not take measures against an employee who does not perform work tasks, i.e. violates work obligations or abuses his position, and the prescribed records are not kept in the institution", the inspection report states.
According to the General Law on Education, school boards appoint and dismiss principals.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation has repeatedly warned that school boards often turn a deaf ear to the proposals of the Education Inspectorate for the dismissal of principals.
"We have schools where the Education Inspectorate has repeatedly found irregularities, and school boards have not raised the issue of dismissing the principal. As a minister, I have an obligation and responsibility, but I have no rights. When the roof leaks, when violence occurs in the school, everyone calls the minister to account, and when a decision needs to be made, it is left to the school board", warned the minister recently during a session of the Parliamentary Committee for Education.
