The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced that the action of collecting old textbooks in primary schools was completed and that 106,16 tons of recyclable material had been collected.
The Podgorica city enterprise "Deponija" has completed the collection of old textbooks from all 108 elementary schools in Montenegro.
"The action called 'Knowledge is not for throwing away - Let's recycle textbooks', which was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Parents Association, although logistically complex and demanding, showed everyone's readiness and determination to cope with even the biggest challenges," he says. in the announcement.
They say that the yard of one or more elementary schools in Montenegro will be equipped from the collected material.
"Knowledge is not to be thrown away," said the ministry.
