The Municipal Inspection of the Municipality of Tivat reacted today to a report that sand is being poured into the sea in the town of Luka near Lepetan.
Citizens saw and photographed the dump truck of the "Briv Construction" company from Kotor, which, blocked on the Adriatic highway, dumped several dozen cubic meters of sand directly into the sea under the parapet wall.
"The customer is a natural person who was identified by Komunalna, and wrote a fine in the amount of 500 euros, and a misdemeanor order was also written to the company Briv Construction, for depositing it on a public surface. The utility made a report and informed JP Morsko dobro about everything," the local administration of Tivat announced on the occasion.
However, they did not disclose to the public the name of the person who ordered the spilling of several tens of cubic meters of sand into the sea.

They pointed out that "in the middle of summer, the traffic on the already catastrophic Adriatic highway was stopped", and that "the road was privatized and huge amounts of sand were dumped into the sea."
"And of course this is not an isolated event. A million and one things that we swore to when we replaced one arrogant government with another, remained a dead letter on paper," stated BF, adding that this event is only one in a series that, according to them, confirms the catastrophically bad relationship between the central authorities in Montenegro. towards Boka Kotorska, where the devastation of the space, the sea and the coast is pronounced, the power and traffic infrastructure is bad, there is a systematic failure to solve the problem of anchorages in the bay, that is, the unpunished spilling of harmful substances from yachts into the sea.
Radio Tivat reports that the newsroom of that media was contacted by a woman, who said that they ordered 17 cubic meters of sand to repair the parapet, which was destroyed several times in traffic accidents last year alone. As they said, they have been waiting for a year and a half for that parapet to be repaired and that it poses a danger to bathers and road users.
The Police Administration announced that the driver Ð.S. three misdemeanor warrants issued from Tivat for driving a vehicle on which bulk cargo is not covered, for unloading cargo on the road in a way that hinders or endangers other traffic participants, as well as for turning the vehicle in a U-turn on a part of the road that does not have enough width for the same .
