Draško Đuranović was dismissed from the position of director and editor-in-chief of Pobjeda.

Nenad Zečević was appointed as the new executive director and editor-in-chief.
As "Vijesti" found out, dThe reason for the change at the head of Pobjeda is the dissatisfaction of the Management Board and owners with some aspects of the current editorial policy, especially with reporting on the work of the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
Two sources familiar with the reasons for the dismissal said that Đuranović allegedly refused the offered position in the newly established Board of Directors.
Allegedly, it was also stormy at the meeting with the newsroom during which the information about the dismissal of Đuranović and the new management was announced.
MEDIA-NEA announced that they have decided to appoint, in accordance with the new corporate policy of closer management of subsidiary companies and the values of openness and transparency, the Board of Directors of Nova Pobjeda and appoint Nenad Zečević as the new executive director and editor-in-chief.
"The board of directors will have the task of supervising and giving closer guidelines for the work of the executive director and in this way achieve more direct control over management by the owner. At the first session held on July 4.07, 2024, the Board of Directors made a decision that for the new executive director and the main and appoints the former editor of the political editorial office, Nenad Zečević, as the responsible editor," states the statement signed by representative Džorž Marusis and executive director Boris Darmanović, reports Pobjeda.
According to the press release, Zečević is a multi-awarded journalist with decades of experience working in Pobjeda, as well as other domestic and foreign media.
"We thank the previous editor-in-chief Draško Đuranović for his dedicated work at Pobjeda and we expect him to contribute even more with his experience to the Board of Directors of Nova Pobjeda in the new role that has been offered to him," he writes in the correspondence.
