Tourist vehicles operate in the national parks (NP) Lovćen and Durmitor, it was announced today from the National Parks of Montenegro (NPCG).
"In order to reduce congestion on access roads to protected areas and reduce congestion during the summer season, the National Parks of Montenegro have introduced an offer for all interested visitors to Durmitor National Park and Lovćen National Park to get to the desired location faster with short tours in tourist buses, as well as by bus from Kolašin to the National Park Biogradska gora," the NPCG press release points out.
The announcement adds that visitors to the Durmitor National Park can use the services of a tourist bus that runs from the parking lot at the "Soa" hotel to the toll booth towards the Black Lake.

"The train departs every hour from the parking lot to the NP ramp starting from 10:17 a.m. to 15:10 p.m., while the return is every hour and 15 minutes, starting from 17:15 a.m. to 3:XNUMX p.m. The price of the return ticket is XNUMX euros," the announcement reads.
The NPCG said that the tour bus ride is a new offer in Lovćen National Park, and it runs from the Visitor Center on Ivan's Corridor to the Kuk lookout point, from where, as they stated, one of the most beautiful views of Boka and the Adriatic Sea is offered.
"All information regarding the use of the tourist train can be obtained at the Visitor Center at Ivan's Korite or by calling the Call Center number 067/000-825. The price of a return ticket is 3 euros," NPCG said.
The company stated that on this occasion they emphasize the convenience of free bus transportation from the center of Kolašin to Biogradska gora National Park thanks to the cooperation of TO Kolašin, Municipality of Kolašin, National Parks of Montenegro, National Tourist Organization and Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro.
"Departure is at 10:13 a.m. and 14:17 p.m., and return at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. The station for departure from Kolašin is at the Sheraton hotel. By using bus transportation to the national park, you will avoid crowds and at the same time contribute to reducing the impact on this protected area during the summer months. For the safety of all our visitors, we urge them to use only marked and marked trails, inform them in a timely manner about the attractions on the trail, its passability and difficulty, weather conditions, and especially to use appropriate hiking shoes and clothing," the NPCG statement concludes.
