Prime Minister Milojko Spajić congratulated the citizens of Andrijevica on Municipality Day.
"The exceptional historical figures of the Vasojevic region have enriched our society, and I am sure that human potential is still one of the most vital pillars of the future development of the Municipality and the entire northern region," said Spajić in his congratulatory message.
He pointed out that citizens expect a responsible, homelike attitude of the administration at all levels and an efficient municipal service.
"With the continuation of the construction of the highway, tighter infrastructural connections, as well as thanks to the European integration process, we believe that Andrijevica will experience accelerated economic progress. Better accessibility and valorization of the overall economic potential of the Municipality, more intensive and stable traffic communication of our regions with the wider environment, will stop the growing trend of emigration inhabitants", reads the congratulatory message.

"On the occasion of the Andrijevica Municipality Day, I send sincere congratulations to the President of the Municipality Željko Ćulafić, the councilors of the Municipal Assembly and all citizens of Andrijevica. Located on the banks of Lim, surrounded by magnificent mountains - Komovi, Bjelasica and Prokletije - Andrijevica is the cradle of rich history, the scene of famous battles and some of the most significant events that marked Montenegrin history," said Bečić.

I believe that the political entities in the municipality of Andrijevica will soon form a government that will be the driving force of progress not only in Andrijevica, but also in the entire northern region and in this way respect the majority will of the citizens and continue with the well-established rates of development, announced Boris Bogdanović, president of the Club of Deputies and General Secretary of Democratic Montenegro.
On behalf of the Club of Deputies of Democratic Montenegro and on his own behalf, he congratulated all citizens of Andrijevica on July 17, the Day of the Municipality of Andrijevica.
"Today, when we celebrate this very important day for the municipality of Andrijevica, we celebrate and remember the brave freedom fighters of this northern municipality, who started an uprising on this day and defiantly said that they do not kiss the chains of the occupiers. Their courage is written in golden letters in history textbooks and serves as an example to all future generations of citizens of Andrijevica, but also of our entire Montenegro. The fight for freedom and honor shone on July 17, drove away the evil forces of fascism and illuminated the face of Montenegro and enslaved Europe," said Bogdanović in a statement.

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić congratulated the first man of the municipality and the citizens on the Day of the Municipality of Andrijevica.
"It is my sincere wish that all of us, with joint efforts, in the future make Andrijevica a more beautiful and pleasant place to live, according to the measure of its inhabitants, especially young people," Mandić stated in the congratulatory letter.
He added that Andrijevica must receive the attention and care it deserves, and in that context he emphasized that he will work diligently to establish the best possible cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro and the new local self-government in that city.
