Director of the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro, Dr. Vuk Kadić, and his associates visited the Igalo Institute, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and exchange of experiences between these two important institutions in the field of health and rehabilitation, according to the announcement of the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro.
As stated, the working meeting at the Institute "Dr. Simo Milošević" was attended by, in addition to the representatives of the Fund, Zoran Kovačević, Executive Director of the Institute, Predrag Dragojlović, President of the Board of Directors on behalf of the IRF, members of the Board of Directors, on behalf of the Government of Montenegro, Pavle Obradović and Goran Čabarkapa in front of the Health Insurance Fund.
"During the visit, the Fund's delegation had the opportunity to learn in detail about the work of the Igalo Institute, their professional staff, innovative methods of treatment and rehabilitation, as well as the latest achievements in medical practice applied by the Institute," the Fund announced.
Kadić emphasized the importance of continuous support to the Igalo Institute, stressing its importance for the health system of Montenegro.
"At the meeting, plans for restructuring and increasing the capacity of the Igalo Institute were discussed. Special attention was paid to the improvement of organizational capacities so that the Institute could provide better and more efficient services," said the Fund.
It is added that they discussed the need to achieve sustainability through the analysis of prices and costs of services, along with finding a common model that would enable long-term sustainability and improve the quality of services.
In addition to the official talks, the announcement states, the Fund's delegation had the opportunity to visit and talk with patients during the tour of the Institute.
This direct contact enabled, as they say, an insight into their experiences, needs and satisfaction with the services provided by the Institute, while the medical staff provided the representatives of the Fund with a detailed insight into the specialized treatments offered by this renowned health institution.
"This initiative represents another step towards strengthening the partnership between the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro and the 'Dr. Simo Milošević' Institute and improving health services for our citizens," the announcement concludes.
