The Serbian National Council added that seven months have passed since the final conclusion of the citizens' declarations on the conducted Census.
"There is not a single objective and justified reason why the results of the Census of Population, Households and Apartments should not be published, even in the case that the state of Montenegro has a population of several million. you have received the widest confidence, so we expect you to announce the results of the survey in full, which you certainly have in 2023, the Serbian National Council officially appealed to the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms so that finally the Serbian people in Montenegro, in accordance with representation, could realize their legitimate rights, which all other indigenous national communities in Montenegro have achieved for themselves." they stated from the Serbian National Council in their request to Pejović.
The news announced yesterday that Monstat expects that the procedure related to the third tender for the procurement of software that citizens will use to control their data on ethnic-cultural characteristics, collected by the population, household and apartment census, will be completed at the beginning of the week.
The creation of the software was imposed on Monstat by the agreement between the government and the opposition on the maintenance of the census, although the software is not required for the processing of statistical data or any procedure during the census.
On June 19, Monstat announced the third tender for the development of software. The first failed because no offer was submitted, while the second had only one, with incorrect documentation. Then they announced that the estimated value of the public procurement is 20.000 euros including VAT, and that the deadline for submitting offers is June 26 of this year.
