The Directorate for Statistics (Monstat) announced today that the fourth tender for the procurement of software, which citizens will use to control data on ethnic-cultural characteristics from the population, household and apartment census, has been successfully implemented.

"At the last tender, three bids were received, which confirms that IT companies are aware of the importance of developing software and contributing to the high-quality and timely publication of the results of the census. After the assessment and evaluation of bids from the three bids received, two were defective due to incomplete documentation, and one offer met the conditions required by the tender. All the details of the procedure are contained in 'Notification on the outcome of the public procurement procedure' which is publicly available on the website of the Directorate for Public Procurement Policy. After the expiration of the legally defined period for monitoring, we can state that the tender was successfully implemented and that the signing of the contract with the selected IT company 'Codepixel doo', which will work on the development of the software, is in progress," the announcement states.

Monstat added that according to the tender procedure, the bidder who submitted the correct offer set a deadline of 25 days from the date of conclusion of the contract for the development of software that will provide citizens with the legally defined right to check the credibility of their data on ethnic-cultural characteristics.

"We remind you that the Directorate for Statistics, considering the lack of interest in the procedure, increased the value of the tender to the amount of 24.999 euros without value added tax (VAT), i.e. 30.249 euros with VAT, in order to further motivate companies to applications, about which the public was informed in a timely manner," the announcement reads.
