The Agency for the Management of Protected Areas in Podgorica will earn about 43.000 euros in 2023.

The Agency for the Management of Protected Areas in Podgorica, which is headed by Jasna Gajević, earned around 43.000 euros last year, which is directed to the investments of that body for the current year, according to the Proposal for a Decision on the distribution of the realized profits of the Agency for the Management of Protected Areas in 2023.

The members of the Assembly of the Capital City will express their opinion on this document tomorrow.

"The council of the company, at the meeting held on March 12, 2024, in accordance with the Statute of the Agency for the Management of Protected Areas, made a decision on the distribution of profits by which it proposed to the founder, the Assembly of the Capital City, that the profits of the company in 2023 should be directed to investments of this company for the year 2024. Therefore, the provision of article one of the proposed decision prescribes that the realized profit of the Agency for the Management of Protected Areas in Podgorica, in the amount of 42.455 euros, is directed in the manner prescribed by the decision," the document reads.

In the proposal signed by the President of the Council of the Agency, Dunja Pešić, it is stated that the legal basis for adopting the Proposal for a Decision on the Distribution of Profits is contained in Article 23 of the Agency's Statute.

"... By which it is prescribed that the Council of the company proposes to the founder the distribution of profits and the coverage of losses," the document states.

The session of the Assembly of the capital, where the dismissal of the mayor of Podgorica, Olivera Injac, and the shortening of the mandate of the Assembly will be discussed, will be held tomorrow, starting at 10 a.m. The councilors will, among other things, discuss the distribution of realized profits and loss coverage of the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica, the report on the implementation of the Action Plan for achieving gender equality in Podgorica for the period 2023-2025. year, determining the number of councilors in the city parliament, establishing the Center for Sustainable Development of Podgorica, as well as other proposals.
