The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation has requested that the sick leave of employees in preschool institutions in Podgorica open during the summer months be checked.

The request was sent to the Ministries of Health and Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue.

Those ministries are requested to strengthen the control of temporary incapacity for work of employees in the education system within their competences.

"In the coming period, similar activities will be carried out for employees in other educational institutions, in order to reduce the abuse of sick leave to a minimum, all with the aim of quality implementation of the educational process and adequate and rational use of budget funds", announced the Ministry of Education. , science and innovation.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation previously informed "Vijesti" that certain employees, during the summer, in the duty units of Podgorica kindergartens practice "planned sick leave" and know in advance how sick they will be.
