BOK coordinator Aleksa Bečić's office announced that, in addition to BOK members, the session was attended by Interior Minister Danilo Saranović, Director of the Police Directorate Zoran Brđanin and Acting Assistant Director of Police for the Anti-Crime Sector Lazar Šćepanović.

As stated, the Minister of Finance Novica Vuković, as well as the general directors of the directorates in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIP) that deal with public procurement, also participated in the work of the session.

Bečić's cabinet said that the BOK stated that the level of cooperation and mutual trust of the intelligence and security sector bodies is at an unprecedented level.

"Which is why, among other things, in cooperation with the prosecution and international partners, we are witnessing historic actions, that is, impressive results, especially in the field of fighting organized crime and corruption," says the announcement.

It is stated that BOK praised three major successful actions of the security sector that were implemented in the previous days.

BOK, as announced, praised one of the biggest actions in recent times codenamed "General", which was carried out in cooperation with the Special State Prosecutor's Office and international partners.

Bečić's office said that BOK also praised the action in which 11 kidnapped migrants were freed, as well as the action in which, in cooperation with members of the Albanian police, three plantations with more than 11 marijuana stems were confiscated.

"BOK affirms the initiative of the Minister of the Interior on the formation of a working group that will prepare urgent changes to the Law on Road Traffic Safety", the announcement says.

It is stated that, with the participation of Vuković, topics related to the improvement of the normative framework for the implementation of the public procurement procedure for the needs of intelligence and security sector bodies were discussed, with the aim of increasing efficiency and functionality in work.

"As very significant, we supported and affirmed the intensive activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the amendments to the Law on Internal Affairs, which create a basis for solving the issue of the personnel deficit of police officers, which will also represent the basis for additional strengthening of that department and the Police Administration," he says. in the announcement.

It is stated that in accordance with the conclusions of the previously held sessions, in coordination with the competent Ministry of Justice, activities have been initiated to start the drafting of a by-law in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure, which will create a basis for effective control of the execution and compliance with the supervision measures of the accused persons.

BOK, as the Bečić cabinet said, also considered other issues within its jurisdiction.
