Kolašinsk Vodovod informed the citizens that the problem in the regular supply of water occurred due to the high temperatures that hit the territory of the municipality during the previous days and due to a significant increase in water consumption from the city's water supply system
"Regular visits to the system and flow measurement revealed that consumption in certain settlements has increased many times compared to the normal state, which has led to endangering the functioning of the water supply system and water shortages in certain parts of it, that is, settlements," said the Waterworks.
They appealed to consumers to use water rationally, to reduce consumption and thereby contribute to the stabilization of the situation in order to avoid or at least postpone restrictions.
"Any irrational consumption of water, i.e. any use of water for watering agricultural, green and other areas, washing and watering sidewalks, washing cars, etc., is strictly prohibited. Against all users who do not comply with saving measures, the Kolašin Water and Sewerage will, in in cooperation with other competent services, undertake all measures provided for by law, including disconnection from the water supply network," warned the Waterworks.
They add that their competent services are on the ground and are taking all the necessary measures to stabilize the system and ensure regular and regular water supply.
