Miodrag Laković, the head of the Parliamentary Club of the Movement Europe Now (PES), today accused the President of the State, Jakov Milatović, of abusing his position as part of the campaign for local elections in the Capital City, and, going beyond the limits of his competence, promised the public the purchase of a specialized fire truck through a donation.
"The proof that it is pre-election manipulation is also confirmed by the fact that the president did not contact either the Government of Montenegro or the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Department for Emergency Situations, in order to possibly find out what the priority needs are in this area, and which is the responsibility of the mentioned institutions". wrote Laković on the X network.
On the contrary, as he stated, Milatović "with his coalition partner, in the manner of local political activists, with an action of naked political marketing", visited the Protection and Rescue Service of the Capital City, in order to make pre-election promises to the public from that place.
With this, Laković believes, he once again showed that his partial political interest is ahead of the interests of all citizens of Montenegro.
Milatović announced earlier today that he sent a request to international partners for the donation of a modern fire truck specially designed for difficult terrain and complex actions to save human lives on tall buildings.
