The fire that broke out today on Dajbabska gora in Podgorica was localized, said the acting commander of the Protection and Rescue Service of the Capital City, Zdravko Blečić, adding that a large number of locals helped them in this.
"The fire, which was brought under control, was reactivated due to the wind, but it was finally localized. Now teams are on duty in that area," Blečić told the MINA agency.
He added that, in addition to the locals, they also had a lot of help from employees of the Waterworks, colleagues from Kolašin, as well as members of the Protection and Rescue Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose plane was engaged in extinguishing the fire.
