Educators, teachers and teachers in kindergartens and schools in Tivat have started implementing the NTC learning system as part of the regular educational process, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) announced.
From that government department, they said that Tivat became the first Montenegrin municipality in which the NTC learning system is implemented, which represents an innovative approach to work with children up to 14 years of age and the practical application of neuroscience in upbringing and education.
"The NTC project in Tivat covers the Drago Milović Primary School, regional units of the school in Donja Lastva and Gradiošnica, the Branko Brinić Primary School in Radovići, as well as the Bambi Public Preschool," the announcement states.
It is added that the financing of the project was fully supported by the Municipality of Tivat.
The MPNI indicated that 85 Tivat educators and teachers as part of the first phase of the project "Introduction of the NTC child development program in elementary schools and preschool institutions in the territory of the municipality of Tivat" attended an education consisting of two modules: "How to successfully develop a child's IQ through play". and "Practical examples of the NTC learning system".
As they said, after analyzing the evaluation lists that showed a high rating from educators and teachers, the Municipality of Tivat provided additional education for all teachers and educators who were interested.
"In addition to this, the Municipality of Tivat also launched a project to equip children's playgrounds with devices according to the methods of the NTC program, so that the first device - a three-meter-high pyramid - was installed in a small city park in Tivat," the announcement states.
MPNI praised the successfully implemented initiative of the Municipality of Tivat and the continuous investment in the improvement of the teaching staff.
