A total of 2.500 euros was collected at a special event organized by the humanitarian organization Caritas of the Diocese of Kotor on the city's waterfront and the Pine promenade in Tivat on Sunday evening, in order to collect funds - to help with the treatment of the boys Feđa Alković and Aleksandar Filipović.
On that occasion, Caritas activists sold homemade pies, pancakes and pancerota at a price determined by the customer, and the citizens showed great humanity this time as well by donating money for the treatment of two boys abroad.
"On this occasion, 2.500 euros were collected. This amount will be divided equally and paid into the accounts of the Alković and Filipović families. We are grateful for the great response of the citizens and the 'Propela' and 'Roma' bars for their help in the organization. We also thank the competent services of the Municipality of Tivat who came to meet us and provided us with a place in the Pines and thus supported this humane act," said the director of Caritas of the Kotor Diocese, don Željko Pasković.
