The newly elected Council of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) will decide today on sending a request to the director of the ASK, Jelena Perović, who is performing this function under house arrest, to declare the existence of reasons for her dismissal, i.e. that during the election she allegedly did not meet the requirements for appointment to that position.
As stated in the proposed agenda delivered to the members by the president of the ASK Council, Pavle Ćupić, during the election in July 2020, Perović did not submit at least three opinions on professional and work qualities from the legal entities she worked for or with whom she cooperated , which was one of the conditions for the selection.
The members of the Council will familiarize themselves with the documentation that Perović submitted in the competition for the election and on the basis of which she was elected by the previous convocation of the Council headed by Momčilo Radulović before making a statement on this decision.
The council plans to ask Perović to submit all the decisions by which she herself approved and signed the variable part of earnings, overtime and other types of compensation in the last year.
They will also ask the director of the Agency to provide them with all work contracts and work contracts concluded from July 1 until today.
