Due to the increased consumption of water in Kolašin, the first degree of restriction will be applied from today. As announced by the company Vodovod i Kanalizacija, in order to preserve the stability of the system and fill the reservoirs, tonight from 23 p.m. until XNUMX a.m. tomorrow, consumers will be without water in the settlements via Tara-Babljak, Drijenak, Rogobore, Bakovići and Plano. as well as consumers in the settlements of Gornji Pažanj, Biočinovići, Selišta, Smailagića Polje and Dulovine.
"Water and sewerage teams are on the ground and are taking the necessary measures to stabilize the functioning of the system. Also, together with the officers of the Municipal Police, we are visiting the field to see if the prescribed savings measures are observed. Actions will be taken against all users who do not comply with the savings measures all measures provided for by law, including disconnection from the water supply network. We emphasize once again that any irrational consumption of water, i.e. any use of water for watering agricultural, green and other areas, washing and watering sidewalks and roadways, washing cars...", announced the executive director of Water and Sewerage Miloš Peković.
He explains that "consumers will be informed in a timely manner about all subsequent steps, which will be undertaken in order to stabilize the system and ensure the highest quality and regular water supply".
Peković reminds that about 10 days ago, the Water and Sewerage Department appealed to consumers to use water rationally, to reduce consumption and thereby contribute to the stabilization of the water supply system.
Despite this, he claims, in the previous days, instead of a decrease, an increase in water consumption was registered. This caused problems, even occasional interruptions in the regular supply of water to consumers in certain settlements, especially in the part of the Vujisić brothers' settlement, reminds Peković.
