"The NGO 'Euromost' also received from the citizens the name of the company that dumped the tires at this temporary disposal site yesterday and against it, as well as the utility company from Rožaj, filed reports today with the competent inspections, it also informed the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, as and the Environmental Protection Agency, from which she asked them not to break the Laws and not to commit criminal acts and to immediately close the illegal temporary dumping site 'Mostina'," the statement said.
They state that the recordings, "which were made every day after the last protest", clearly show that the Rožaj utility company "disobeyed this time" the demands of the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency and "left this illegal temporary landfill to be used by everyone in an uncontrolled manner, endangering the lives of citizens and the environment".
"Six days after the protest, as many as 169 people with their vehicles entered this illegal temporary dumping site without any control and dumped waste in an uncontrolled manner, where many of them dumped it in the burning hot spot," says Euromost.
They said that it is also worrying that "this company pushes all the waste into the canyon and towards the Ibar river, without burying it, it also mixes all the waste, which is why it is constantly burning, and which we will also make public in the coming period".
"Today, the NGO 'Euromost' requested in writing from the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Rožaje, after the uncontrolled disposal of tires at this illegal temporary dump, to react immediately and initiate the investigation and determination of the committed criminal act, to the detriment of citizens and the environment." , the announcement concludes.
