Petrovac, a popular tourist destination in Montenegro, has been facing a serious problem for the last three days due to restrictions in water supply for several hours during the peak tourist season.

This is stated in the joint statement of the hoteliers, addressed to "Vijesti".

"Such a situation has caused significant negative consequences and dissatisfaction among tourists, including numerous cancellations of reservations and potential damage to local tourism. Restrictions in water supply, which were introduced without notice, allegedly due to a prolonged drought and increased consumption during the summer months, have contributed to the current situation in hotels and other accommodation facilities becoming unacceptable and chaotic. These restrictions are most often manifested through reductions in water supply, reduced pressure and occasional disconnections, and this in the period when it is most needed, that is, in the afternoon until midnight," the announcement states.

The joint statement was signed by the hotels "AMI" Petrovac, Villas "Olive" Petrovac, "Palas" Petrovac, "W-Grand" Petrovac and "AMFORA", noting that the other hoteliers they contacted also agreed, but that their representatives physically did not were present in Petrovac.
