The tourism industry of Kolašin, judging by the current announcements, will have reason to be satisfied when it comes to the number of guests during the next two months.
As the director of the Tourist Organization (TO) said Zorica Milašinović, after a good visit from mid-June until now, the city should be full of tourists in late summer and early fall. According to official data, around 13.500 guests registered to stay in Kolašin in June and July.
"If the weather conditions are favorable, we expect a good visit during September and October as well. According to announcements, this will extend the season for another two months. In TO, we have made an effort to, as before, offer a large number of artistic, cultural and entertainment events, as well as hiking tours, and continue the promotion of active vacations," announced Milašinović.
"In cooperation with the Municipality and the Communal Company, and as part of the celebration of the Municipal Day, we organized a large cleaning campaign, and on August 24, a concert in IV Proleterska Street. Throughout the summer, we had a music program on Saturdays at the same location, which was well received by fellow citizens and tourists. The Prizovodi fair of our region was held on August 26, with a large number of exhibitors from our region, as well as Bjelopolje, Andrijevica, Mojkovac and other municipalities. It was an opportunity for the guests of Kolašin to get to know a rich range of healthy food and homemade products", announced the director of TO.
A Kolašin dance event is planned for the end of August, as well as a large painting workshop. The fifth Sinjavin cycling marathon should be held on September 21. During September and October, TO will intensify the promotion of active tourism.
"In addition to promoting opportunities for active vacations, we also promote attractive parts of our municipality, which are insufficiently known to tourists. Thus, we will organize numerous walking and cycling tours. The focus is, first of all, to bring tourists closer to the beauty of the Morački Mountains, which have not been properly valorized until now. Traditional tours to Komovo are also in our plans", explains Milašinović.
According to her, TO will pay attention to the marking of new footpaths in Sinjavina. It is planned to clean and mark four such trails on the mountain, which is attracting more and more attention from lovers of active vacations.
