The ultra-luxurious and brand new superyacht "Kismet", which flies the flag of the Marshall Islands, sailed into the Porto Montenegro marina in Tivat the day before yesterday, and then stayed at the anchorage in the Tivat Bay.
With its 122 meters in length, 17,8 meters in width, with a draft of 4,4 meters and a volume of 4.918 gross tons, "Kismet" is one of the largest yachts that visited Tivat this season, but it is certainly the most expensive and the most luxurious vessel that docked in Porto Montenegro this summer.
The impressive ship is worth over 360 million dollars, and only a few months ago it left the shipyard of the renowned German company "Lurssen Yachts" from Bremen. The ship was designed and built according to the special wishes of its owner, an American-Pakistani billionaire Shahid Khan.
The rich industrialist is the owner of the "Flex-N-Gate" corporation, which produces parts for the auto industry, and his total wealth is estimated at 12 billion dollars. Among other things, Khan is the owner of the "Jacksonville Jaguars" team in American football, which plays in the NFL league there, as well as the English football Premier League "Fulham FC". A few years ago, Kahn spent a total of almost a billion dollars just to buy those two clubs.
His new yacht "Kismet", the second to be named by Khan, is one of the largest private superyachts in the world and features an unusual exterior and interior design by the companies "Nuvolari Lenard" and "Raymong Langton Design". The impressive ship incorporates the latest technological solutions, and on its decks, "Klismet" offers an incredible level of luxury for a maximum of 20 guests that the ship can accommodate and who are looked after by 40 members of the yacht's crew. Among other things, the yacht has a huge video wall that stretches over the height of two decks, an open oval swimming pool, an open fireplace on deck, a SPA and beauty center, a gym, an open and closed biskop, a beach bar, a helipad... The yacht carries a whole a number of smaller vessels and equipment for fun on the water, such as scooters, seabob devices and hydrofoil surfboards, and among this equipment, a mini-submarine intended for the yacht owner and his guests to explore the undersea and marine life up to a depth of several tens of meters stands out in particular. .
The annual maintenance costs of this yacht, which is currently 40th on the list of the largest yachts in the world, are estimated at around 30 million euros. Even though he invested a lot of money and energy in its design and construction according to his specific wishes, Shahid Khan does not only keep the luxury boat for himself, but also offers it for charter. Thus, "Kismet" can be rented by anyone who is ready to pay three million euros per week, plus other expenses.
