"Podgorica lista - Andrej Milović" has a plan to establish a daily cultural center for children with developmental deficits from the autism spectrum, said the candidate of that list for councilor in the city parliament, Irena Stevović.
"The number of children with developmental deficits from the autism spectrum is growing noticeably, and we must initiate the full visibility of this vulnerable group in culture. We consider it unacceptable that Podgorica does not have any day care center for children from the autism spectrum and that the capital did not pay equal attention to the needs and rights of all children." she announced.
He says that they consider the establishment of that center an obligation of the Capital City and the state, because they want equal rights for all children.
"The capital city must actively involve them in all the cultural activities it can provide and provide them with the conditions to show their skills and creativity. Our primary goal is to direct them to the spheres that interest them, in which they can reach their maximum and realize themselves ", states Stevović.
In the center, he adds, attention will also be paid to the parents of children on the autism spectrum.
"This is precisely why one of our priorities will be the opening of the first Day Cultural Center for children with developmental deficits on the autism spectrum. Podgorica lista - Andrej Milović will return Podgorica to every child and every citizen," the announcement concludes.
