Preparations for the fifth Sinjajevin cycling marathon, which will be held on September 21, organized by the NGO of the same name, the municipalities of Kolašin, Žabljak and Mojkovac and the tourism organizations of those cities, are coming to an end.

The participants will have the task of cycling a 54-kilometer track across the Sinjajevina mountain.

"The start is at Vrtoč polje on the territory of the municipality of Žabljak. The trail has three major climbs, at the beginning in the Čurović katun, the next one at the tenth kilometer in the Okruglica katun and the third in the Podstarac katun at the 25th kilometer. After the Previja katun, the rest of the route is less demanding," the organizers explain.

Logistics will also be provided this time by the Kolašin Red Cross (CK). Transportation is provided for the participants, as well as the transportation of bicycles from Kolašin to Vrtoč polje. The finish line of the race is at Trg boraca in Kolašin.

"The goal of the event is to promote Mount Sinjajevina and its expanses, which are ideal for the promotion of active tourism (cycling tours, walking tours...). Also, to direct as many young people as possible towards sports, mountains and nature", says the director of TO Kolašin Zorica Milašinović.
