Kažanegra Stanišić: I will propose to the Democratic MPs to propose changes to the law that treats juvenile delinquency

The vice-president of the Democrats, Dragana Kažanegra Stanišić, announced that she would propose to the caucus of that party to submit a proposal to amend the law dealing with juvenile delinquency in the parliamentary procedure.

She said that until this problem is systematically addressed, the justified fears and apprehensions of every parent will not be reduced, nor will the overall environment in which the youth of our society lives be changed.

"The modern way of life and all the trends and lifestyles that are inevitably imposed indicate that the term 'modern' does not automatically mean more advanced, more affirmative, more emancipated, more acceptable, safer. Should we once again say loudly that children are our mirror, that we instill in them the basic postulates of humanity, empathy, humanity (if anyone else recognizes), the need to protect, help, defend others and that these are lofty values.
