"The most exciting part of the year is when science leaves the laboratory and comes to us," said State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) Marijeta Barjaktarović Lanzaradi, on the occasion of the announcement of the "Days of Science and Innovation" festival.

This is the twelfth festival in a row and will be held from September 23 to 27 under the slogan "Science and innovation at your fingertips", said Barjaktarović Lanzardi at the press conference.

She said that they offer over 80 contents in 15 cities, and that the program is very rich, and that it contains 37 projects worth 34.000 thousand euros.

"The festival aims to bring science closer to a wider audience in an innovative and interesting way, including pupils, students, but also all citizens interested in the latest achievements and technologies. During the five days of the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to attend various lectures, workshops, exhibitions and presentations that will cover a wide range of topics in the field of science and innovation. This event not only provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas, but also encourages young people to take an interest in science and technology, thereby contributing to the development of the innovative potential of Montenegro", it says on the website of the Day of Science and Innovation.

The festival will be officially opened in the Science and Technology Park in Podgorica, announced Barjaktarović Lanzarada, adding that the festival will end with an award ceremony and a concert.

The dean of the Kotor Maritime Faculty at the University of Montenegro (UCG), Tatijana Dlabač, said that she believes that it is the duty of everyone to bring everything they do closer to young people and make everything available to them.

"Science within reach actually means science within reach of every child", said Dlabač at the press conference.

"It was a challenge for us from the maritime faculty to do something for our children, but also to bring it all closer to all the children in Montenegro, regardless of the city they are in," said Dlabač.

The founder of FIVE Group, Ivan Šoć, said that every year they strive to improve the festival.

"We are trying to make sure that you can touch everything we do this year," Šoć said.

The executive director of the Technopolis Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Đorđije Malović, said that "these five days of the festival should be proof that science happens 365 days a year, and that during these five days you can only see the result of the year's effort and work."

"Every year we have one event that is more massive than the others, and this year it is a fair of robotics, 3D technology, etc., and it will be called Texpo," Malović said.

At the fair, training in robotics and 3D technology will be available for the youngest as well as for the elderly, Malović said and announced that Nikšić will soon get a Digital Revolution House.
